Guiltily, I tried to sleep before doing this, thinking, I'd get to it in the morning. Guess not.
Today was spent, almost entirely, involved in a wedding shower for two dear, dear friends (and aftermath thereof). The shower was a surprise for the bride, given by an aunt and cousin. Many gifts were given and opened, and most everyone had a good time, especially the bride and groom. Then there was the transportation of said gifts back to a staging area (the bride's parents' home), and then pizza, then the exchanging of duplicate/defective gifts, and that was that. There's much more there (what kind of pizza, for example, and whether or not it was any good), but that's all extraneous lilygilding.
