No movies this weekend. This makes me angry. This means this week I have to catch "Evolution" and "Swordfish", and somehow do it on the cheap.
The weather continues to get warm. One forecast I saw tonight predicted 88F (31C) by Tuesday. The newsanchor, who was obviously some kind of heat-loving lizard, was actually asking for 90. People of this stripe make me pray for snow in June.
I realized today that everyone who lives in my household is a paranoid control freak. Yes, I do include myself in that assessment. All three of us are highly possessive of our stuff. And when what is defined as "our stuff" overlaps, it gets nasty. Indeed, there are times my life is like outtakes from "Who's Afraid Of Virginia Woolf?"-I'm just waiting for the day dad calls mom "QUEEN OF THE HARPIES!"
That's something I will come back to later-right now my back hurts (sitting on the floor).
I had something else to talk about, but now, dammit, I can't remember. Today's Link Of The Day is McSweeney's, the online branch of the literary magazine established by Dave Eggers. Find it at http://www.mcsweeneys.net
