I just had a wonderfully weird moment of unexpected intimacy. And no, you don't get to hear any more about it than that.
Mmmm off-day. Bought comics (woo-hoo!), got the oil changed in the Jeep, bought Tori Amos's "Strange Little Girls" and Ben Folds's "Rockin' The Suburbs", washed windows, and at one point, I had a Ho-Ho.
I'm in an entirely different mod now than when I started writing this. And it's not nearly as fun of a mood, either.
Saw "Hearts In Atlantis", directed by Scott Hicks. It's based on some of the Stephen King book of the same name-apparently, the book is five loosely-connected stories and the movie takes most of its basis from just one of them. And it's quite good. It's beautifully shot (which is heartbreaking since the first credit is a dedication to the cinematographer, who died). Anthony Hopkins acquits himself well, and the child actor whose foil he plays is very good indeed. See it when it arrives this Friday.
Today's Link Of The Day is another one to send you screaming into without warning. So start screaming. http://www.frashii.com/wldo.swf
