I went through all of Halloween without actually seeing one person in a costume.
I like Halloween, but I'm kind of glad it's over. It never quite works out like I'd envisioned it.
Wait! I did see one person in costume. Someone from my office brought in her grandson, who was dressed as a bat. I saw him and made the half-aloud comment "And me without a hunting permit." This sent my supervisor, who heard it, into spasms of wrong fun laughter.
Beyond that, not much. Tomorrow is a good day, Friday's even better.
Today's Link Of The Day is the Acts of Gord. It's a pseudo-biblical collection of shopkeeper's revenge stories. And it's funnier than hell. Don't just take my word for it: http://www.actsofgord.com/
