Two nights ago was a home run. I thought last night would be another one, but it turned into a double that bounced low off the outfield wall and almost got the runner picked off at second. Sadly, I'm smelling weak single or even groundout to third tonight, because generating this analogy is draining all the clever I've got.
Nothing of really great import happened today. No dragons slain, or damsels rescued. (I almost used "maidens" instead of "damsels". What's the difference between a maiden and a damsel, anyway?)
Tomorrow is my last day on the project which has kept me at the office until 10 every damn night. Hopefully with its demise I'll be able to get some of my evenings back.
And then Friday is spending and driving and spending. Woo!
Today's Link Of The Day answers a question you've always wondered about, but had never actually asked: Was Adolf Hitler the last of his line? http://www.portal.telegraph.co.uk/news/main.jhtml?xml=/news/2002/01/20/whit20.xml&sSheet=/news/2002/01/20/ixworld.html
