When taking a risk, the worst thing that can happen is not that the world will end. The worst thing that can happen is that the world won't end and you'll be forced to deal with the consequences. I am discovering that with each day that passes without a new entry from me here. After I fell off the "one-entry-a-night-even-if-it-kills-me" horse, it's been hard as hell to get back on. I have no promises to offer as to whether or not I'll be able to get back on again starting with this entry. I don't even know if I'd want to.
I'm getting a lot of pressure to go back to school. I think it might kill me. I played, I lost, now I'm the story people tell their children at night to get them to stay in school. There are times, even-especially-among my friends, when I feel like I'm the cautionary tale of the group. Makes me sick to my stomach, but it's not something I can prevent.
Soy un perdidor.
The house is hot and may not cool off until next Monday at the earliest when the AC guy comes to take a look at the unit. This development blows. This fucking lizardy heat can go back to the hell that spawned it.
There will be a five lines two rhymes update hopefully tomorrow. I'm sorry about the delay but things have been shaking poorly.
Today's Link Of The Day is actually three since I've been behind. Two of them kind of go together: http://www.livejournal.com/users/god_dot_com/ and http://www.livejournal.com/users/satan_dot_com/. I am, oddly, more fond of God's. The third is Kartoo. It's another damn search engine, sure, but it distinguishes itself in the way it presents its results: as maps. http://www.kartoo.com/
