On this night, between 10:30 and 11PM, I was perfect.

I was sitting in my local T.G.I. Friday's playing the NTN electronic networked trivia game "Countdown". For those of you who've never seen it, a question is given, and five possible answers. Answer it (correctly) within the first two to three seconds and you score the full possible 1000 points. The longer you wait, the more points get taken away, plus clues are given to lead you to the right answer. A game consists of 15 questions and runs close to 30 minutes, when break and network result tabulation time are included.

During the 10:30PM (CT) game, I got all 15 questions correct for the full 1000 points. I completed a perfect 15,000 point game, which not only won the competition within the bar (of course), but placed me, alone, as the #1 player in the COUNTRY (perhaps "countries", in fact, because I believe the network stretches into Canada).

By the end, my hands were tingling, my knees were wobbling, and my stomach was very close to replaying my dinner.

Now the only fear is that I've peaked here and now with this, and the rest of the ride will be downhill.
