Today, in addition to the Indiana Jones movies on DVD (love them, love them), I bought the CD Echoes by The Rapture. I had not heard anything off the record and bought it based on several rapturous (pardon the pun) reviews from sources I trust. And I say without reservation that I cannot remember the last time I found a record so boring and tuneless. Seriously. I listened to it (once so far) and could not remember a single tune or lyric afterward. I'm glad I only paid $7 for it. Seriously. Avoid it.
