Posting this from the AT&T Digital Oasis (glorious A/C!) at Lollapalooza. So far, so good--no problems with transport or admission. Haven't really taken in any of the bands yet, but Ted Leo is coming up in about 20 minutes; other must-sees today include M.I.A., Electric Six, and Daft Punk.

I'll see what I can do about updates throughout the weekend. Many thanks again to arettber and adickers for hosting me this weekend.

If I ever get another moment in my life as fantastic as when the Polyphonic Spree performed Nirvana's "Lithium"...AS A SINGALONG...I'll be just thrilled to bits.

Briefly: Big thumbs up to the Spree, thumbs up to M.I.A., I only stuck around long enough at Electric Six to hear "Gay Bar", and Ted Leo was sorta...meh. Not special. I fear I'll come away from LCD Soundsystem saying the same thing.

Very hot, unsurprisingly. Staying hydrated. Significant headache makes me angry that I considered and rejected bringing along Aleve (won't make that mistake tomorrow).
