Shortness dictated by the hour, but there's something I want to discuss at some point, so I'll file it away for another time.

Head is clearing.

Saw "Bandits", directed by Barry Levinson. First, I'd like to mention that I think I'm hopelessly, irrevocably in love with Cate Blanchett. Billy Bob Thornton was also terrific, though Bruce Willis was only so-so. Secondly, I think I'm hopelessly, irrevocably in love with Cate Blanchett. Levinson does a good job with the material-he's much better suited to things like this than, say, "Sphere"-and the script, by onetime "Twin Peaks" writer Harley Peyton goes right more often than not. By the way, I think I'm hopelessly, irrevocably in love with Cate Blanchett. There are a couple of creative bank robberies, and some true surprises. I recommend it. And, lastly, I think I'm hopelessly, irrevocably in love with Cate Blanchett.

Mowed today. Hopefully only once more this year.

Today's Link Of The Day is Open Universe. OU is an astronomy program that allows you to, say, look at Saturn from the POV of one of its moons. Or see the sun from Pluto. It's fairly graphics-heavy, so don't download it if you don't think your computer can handle it. I've been having a blast with it the last couple of days. Enjoy: http://www.openuniverse.org
