I'm getting really damn sick of that hospital.

P popped two of his stitches at some point today, which caused one of the incisions in his foot to start bleeding. It bled slowly for almost 8 hours before we went back to the ER AGAIN and got the stitches replaced.

We got new family room furniture today, lovely black leather Italian stuff. Very modern looking. Unfortunately, our family room is traditional bordering on rustic, so the new stuff looks as out of place as Charlie Trotter in a McDonald's.

Math geek fact of the day: 100,000 factorial has 456,574 digits. And the first one of them is a 2.

Today also marked one month until my birthday, and I admit, I'm having a hard time coming up with an activity. I wonder a bit if I should be the one coming up with the activity, but then I realize if I don't, no one will, so plan I must.

Today's Link Of The Day is Athena at Cornell. The Athena Project is going to land rovers on Mars in 2004. Space is cool, people. Everyone who was agog over the Leonid showers (I admit, I wasn't-and it was a good thing, as the Chicago area was trapped under a thick fog cover Saturday night) should check it out. People who weren't agog over the Leonid showers should check it out, too. People who just like the word "agog" should stand up and be counted. I'll be #1. Anyway, Athena. http://www.athena.cornell.edu/
