I'm pretty tired, so expect shortness.

P did not need extra dialysis. Good for him.

Tomorrow brings money and training for another project (which will, hopefully suck significantly less than the current one).

I used a sledgehammer today to erect a mailbox post (and to smash the previous mailbox). It was quite fun, but afterward I discovered that I'd overexercised the muscles in the underside of my right arm and I had difficulty gripping things (pens, for example) for several hours afterward.

I am informed that it was Sir Arthur C. Clarke, author of "2001: A Space Odyssey" who first remarked on advanced technology's indistiguishability from magic, as I quoted in my review of "Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone".

Today's Link Of The Day is Blixa Bargeld. Blixa is renowned for his work with Einstürzende Neubauten, but I first came upon him though his collaborations with Nick Cave. Anyway, it's pretty cool stuff, and in German, too, if you'd like. http://www.blixa-bargeld.com/

Yahhhh! German stuff instead of French stuff. You get to be my hero for a day! ;-) OH... and on your last entry about the belt situation, if I'd had a weak bladder when reading that I'd have peed myself from laughing and ended up in a rather large puddle. Lucky for me I'm not old or "leaky".

I found it way too amusing.
Off to one hell of an unfun law test I go...
