Not too much today. Work, then home.
Watched the first half-hour of "The Apartment" tonight. I'm not sure yet if it will become a permanent V-Day fixture. I liked what I saw.
I'm sorely tempted to try to fraudulently worm my way onto Miramax's list of Academy of Motion Pictures Arts & Sciences members' list. I'm just in it for the screeners, y'know.
To do a little catching up: I bought "The Apartment" (see above) and "Almost Famous: Untitled" on DVD, and The White Stripes' "White Blood Cells" on CD. I can't stop listening to the White Stripes. I'm at a loss to describe them, beyond maybe the word "garage". They're really good.
