I am currently receiving my first taste of editorial feedback. It is good, and is helping me greatly with the project I'm working on. At the same time, however, it's helping me realize how wonderfully autocratic this forum is: if I want to post it, I post it, and that's fuckin' that. And for something like this, it's probably best to not have to answer to anyone beside yourself.
I've decided to start reading H.L. Mencken and Marcus Aurelius when I'm done with my current book (and can afford to buy works of theirs). They are, I think, two guys who knew what they were talking about.
Today's Link Of The Day is Noise Free America. I can't really believe someone thinks this is a good idea-unless you live in an area where they're making hand-hammered copper pots and pans, noise pollution isn't really that big of an issue. Indeed I know that pure silence tends to drive me batshit. http://www.noisefree.org
