Just saw "Bruce Almighty" (It's OK, a little preachy). The one thing that's been lurking in my head, though, and I can't believe I haven't seen anyone mention it:

I think Jim Carrey had some plastic surgery.

Anyone else seen it and wondered the same thing? He just...doesn't...look...right.

I haven't seen it, and have no plans to, but I had a similarly startled reaction to the way nobody seemed to notice when Matthew McConaughey suddenly showed up with a full head of hair in "how to lose a guy in ten days"- I didn't even see the movie, but I sure as hell saw the posters everywhere, and he has more hair now than he did in "dazed and confused", and that was ten years ago. Slightly random, but that's me.

Actually, you aren't the only one...when he and Jennifer Aniston appeared on the cover of Entertainment Weekly to promote the film, he looked a lot more like Keanu Reeves than Jim Carrey, which prompted a flurry of letters about whether or not he went under the knife. From everything I've read, his facial changes are due to loss of weight and a different hair cut...but who really knows.

Loss of weight and a new haircut, my Aunt Harriet. I was at Blockbuster tonight and too a look at the video box for "The Majestic", and you know what it hadf that "Bruce Almighty" didn't?
