I said today, in jest, that "I would be sad even if I hit a home run which won the World Series for the Yankees ".

I almost locked myself in a closet later when I realized I wasn't kidding.

I would be sad if you did that too. In fact, so would most of America outside of the greater N.Y. area. So wouldn't you be happy that you'd brought such misery to so many?
