Three years on.

How have you changed? How has your life changed?

Which of these changes would have happened anyway? Which of these changes are a result of the Events?

Is any of this a campaign issue?

Weird tangent...

Last night, at my friend's house, we had Candyman on for some reason (it was on tv), and became obsessed with who Virginia Madsen was, what else she'd been in, etc. So we looked her up on imdb, only to find that her birthday is September 11th. It all dawned on us that it was her birthday and we were watching a film of hers...just a weird coincidence.

Um, as for the rest of it...I dunno. Lemme think.

I love you Hanni, but I'm tired of all the 9/11 schlock. I'm respectfully opting out of this survey.

I continue to appreciate the Chicago skyline that I love in a whole new way.

I look at the American flag a lot differently.

After both 9/11 and my heart surgery (8 years ago already), I have a greater sense of being mortal. My life has changed (from both) in that I find myself wanting to experience the world more - travel, spend more time with friends/family - even leading me to do things on a whim - (ie; ducking out of Adam V's wedding reception briefly to go get navel pierced while in Vegas).

As for campaign issue, it will always have an effect on elections from now on - what is going to decide it for me to be honest is who is going to do what for the military. Yes yes i am being partial, but these people get treated like crap, live highly stressful lives, get paid next to nothing, etc etc.
