Date: 2005-01-25 02:57 pm (UTC)Anyway, the Best Animated Movie category will be interesting - Shrek 2 was good, but The Incredibles was better. Will Pixar avenge the infamous and unjust loss by Monsters, Inc. to the first Shrek? I hope so.

Date: 2005-01-25 05:19 pm (UTC)I also saw Sideways last weekend and it was the most excruciating two and half hours I've ever spent in a theater. Please help me understand why people like that movie.

Date: 2005-01-26 01:40 am (UTC)That's what I don't get.
Giamatti was overlooked--his performance was good in Sideways, even though I do not like the film (and didn't like his character, even though he did it well)...maybe's the New Jim Carrey? (then again, Carrey was overlooked for Eternal Sunshine, so I'm not sure if he can be replaced by a new King of Being Overlooked)
