More later.

I agree; preposturous. Especially when Sideways still got a Best Picture nod - he's why, you jackasses!

Anyway, the Best Animated Movie category will be interesting - Shrek 2 was good, but The Incredibles was better. Will Pixar avenge the infamous and unjust loss by Monsters, Inc. to the first Shrek? I hope so.

And double-especially when Virginia Madsen, Thomas Haden Church, the screenplay and the production itself are up for Oscars. Injustice.

I'm back.

I also saw Sideways last weekend and it was the most excruciating two and half hours I've ever spent in a theater. Please help me understand why people like that movie.

You clearly didn't see "Dr. T and the Women" in the theaters. Or possibly "Lost in Translation."

Feh on your Translation bashing. Feh, I say.

You didn't see "Dr. T" in the theater either. Although you're correct regarding its spectacular badness.

ALAN ALDA?!?!?!?!?

That's what I don't get.

Giamatti was overlooked--his performance was good in Sideways, even though I do not like the film (and didn't like his character, even though he did it well)...maybe's the New Jim Carrey? (then again, Carrey was overlooked for Eternal Sunshine, so I'm not sure if he can be replaced by a new King of Being Overlooked)

And thank you for mentioning Carrey--I swear, the guy won't get nominated until he's playing somebody dying of cancer.

Oh, wait, he did that for Man in the Moon.
