I didn't eat today.
I was punishing myself for broken promises.
Work continues to suck.
Saw "Black Hawk Down", directed by Ridley Scott, which was good, but not spectacular. It did all the technical things right but didn't quite invest me fully emotionally.
Is it a sign of mental defect to do something deleterious to yourself, know it's deleterious while you're doing it, but have that not be enough to stop you from doing it?
Today's Link Of The Day is, finally, because they have a usable link, Chicago Magazine's "Press Box" column. In much the same way that the Chicago Reader's "Hot Type" column does, "Press Box" covers goings-on in Chicago print media, especially at the two major newspapers. http://www.chicagomag.com/pressbox/pressbox_story.htm
