Decided to do something tonight I haven't before (I think-I'm getting too lazy and there are too many of these little missives to go back and reread them ALL to really find out): I'm starting with a quote:

"A miracle, even if it is a lousy miracle, is still a miracle."

Teller (of Penn & Teller, ripoff artistes) said that.

(My current miracle is that my thumb didn't hurt any more when I woke up. Now if only I could get the scrollwheel on my mouse to work right againÂ…)

Today was astronomically dull-I showered, got dressed, and proceeded to not leave the house (like, at all-I didn't even step outside to take out garbage or anything). Today was so dull I was going to spend tonight's entry recapping Saturday more fully, filling you in on all the details I couldn't last night because of my thumb-burn. But now, suddenly, I've decided against that. You'll never know why.

Hell, neither will I.

Today's Link Of The Day is Sincity, the official web home of Penn & Teller. I'm surprised I've made it this long without talking about Penn & Teller-I'm a BIG fan. More than one person has said that I'm a lot like Penn (or at least Penn's public persona)-hell, more than one person has said I look like Penn-but I think I find Teller more interesting. Maybe it's that the idea of the (public) silence-the idea that he can speak (and does, at times, usually on NPR), but chooses not to-is one I find myself agreeing with more and more. I'm not sure. Anyway, go, see the P&Tness of the site: http://www.sincity.com

i *heart* penn and teller. they are just...wow. (and they're so so smart. witness penn on politically incorrect. he is by far one of the most articulate guests they have on the show.)
