Just got home from a callback audition for Jeopardy!.

I think it went well--and that's not me the shameless self-promoter saying that, that's me the notorious pessimist.

Now we play the waiting game (which sucks, and I'd prefer Hungry Hungry Hippos, but that's not in the cards).

Scott Hermes, one of our Neo-Futurist alumni, did a solo show with us a month ago about his quest to be on Jeopardy! and I briefly considered forcing you to watch it (it was highly entertaining and informative), but then decided it might possibly psyche you out in some way--that it was best if you went in untainted by another man's experience.

I'll tell you to start writing your witty mid-show banter now, and that Trebek does NOT like to be touched.

Congrats on doing this, John. I'd be very surprised if they didn't give you a shot.
