Not a real happy day.
Tried to donate blood this morning, before work. I was stuck twice, once in each arm. The first time they tried, nothing happened. Nothing flowed. The second time, they got maybe two tablespoons before it stopped. No one was quite sure why. So that was unpleasant.
Work was work.
In the evening, there was film.
Went to see Jay & Silent Bob Strike Back, directed by Kevin Smith. I loved it. It requires a strong knowledge of the four previous Smith films, as well as any number of other references, to really enjoy, but I highly recommend it. Make sure to stick around all the way through the credits, too. I walked out of the theater on a huge high.
Then I was dragged, without prior warning, (and since I wasnt driving, I couldnt really object) to John Carpenters Ghosts Of Mars. Bad, bad, bad, bad, bad, bad, bad, bad. Worst thing of the year (so far). I was totally brought down from my Jay & Silent Bob buzz.
So here I sit. Not happy.
