Date: 2006-10-17 04:26 pm (UTC)Or would they have just given the ball to Urlacher and told him to make it happen? God knows he helped everything else in that 4th quarter.

Date: 2006-10-17 08:06 pm (UTC)I don't deny that the Cardinal's played a better game. Just looking at the stats alone reveals that fact. The Bears played a shitty game, but got lucky. There has to be something to say about getting lucky in sports, because let's face it, luck really does play a factor sometimes. And, to a certain degree, cunning--the challenge on the Cardinal's touchdown was a smart move, and it paid off. I'm not sure why the Bears have the record they have--if it's talent or sheer luck or a combination of both--but I have to wonder why the Cardinals have a record of 1-5. Leinart may be doing a great job, but his team might be letting him down. So that does suck.
Hrm, now that I think about it, he dated Paris Hilton, so maybe I don't want to comfort him. Diseased!
