Congratulations, it's a new OS.
I took the plunge into Windows XP tonight. So, of course, the first thing I had to do was change many of my settings back to the way I wanted them. I'm still in the process of doing that.
The thing that's made me grind my teeth the most so far is that I can't get the "New Office Document" command on the Start menu to work. When I do so, it starts to look for the Office 2000 CD, which I don't currently have in my possession. Luckily, I've found a temporary workaround for that. Problem #2 is that AOL 6.0 is incompatible with XP, so I need to download 7.0. Of course, the ONE time I need a good, semi-high-speed dialup line, I getÂ…26.0kbps. I can hear that little pissant laughing at me, I can.
In what may come as a surprise to many who know me, I did NOT see "Monsters, Inc." today. I am, however, ticketed for tomorrow night.
I have more I should say-I bought comics (woo-hoo) and Belle And Sebastian's "Tigermilk"-but I'm rapidly losing consciousness.
