Tomorrow I write from the road. Today I write from tiredness.
Today was a good day if for no other reason than that I'll never have to say "Were you in the Marine Corps, sir?" again.
Someone at my office has posted a notice on the lunchroom bulletin board advertising a ticket to the Lyric Opera's production of "Parsifal". I have to try very hard not to scrawl "Funnier than Camelot"-The New York Times at the bottom.
Got paid today. Oh, this is a happy thing.
I'm all giddy about my trip tomorrow. By the way, there is no truth to the rumor that while I'm there, I'll be interviewing to be the Colts' new special teams coach.
